George Pickett

-Led unorganized troops -Often showed up late for battles Overall SuccessGeorge Pickett graduated last in his class from West Point, which showed during his days as an army commander. After being wounded in the shoulder, Pickett was assigned a small division. This group saw little battle until the fight at Gettysburg where they arrived late, causing a bloody scene in which many members of the troop died. The disorganized chaos that Pickett failed to straighten out showed his lack of proper leadership capabilities and his incompetence as a motivator. After this calamity, George Pickett remained bitter and unhappy, once again falling short of the mark and allowing what was left of his men to doubt his leadership.
